Northeast False Creek Waterfront Entertainment District

Key features of the concept include:

A New Waterfront Experience: A mixed-use housing and retail/dining district on a waterfront promenade. A ground plane activated with a mix of shops, cafes, and restaurants lining a fine-grained network of pedestrian walkways.

New Parks and Gathering Places: 14 acres of new public park space including the adjacent Creekside Park.

New Housing: 3,300new homes, including 600 non-market homes.

New Job Space: The retail and commercial component will provide space for an estimated 700 jobs.

New Arts and Culture Opportunities: Integrated public art and places for street performance, artisan retail, and artist space.

New Public Amenities: Space will be included for a new Community PolicingCentre as well as a Child Care Facility with an outdoor play area.
