Alexandra Park Concept Master Plan

CIVITAS wascommissioned to develop a concept master plan to explore the developmentpotential of a site that was in transition from its existing function as aracecourse. The first phase, Greenlane West, was envisioned as a vibrantprecinct and mixed use destination that supports the existing horse racingfunctions and facilities.

The ConceptMaster Plan:

•       Respectsand celebrates the historic racing legacy of the site;

•       Preservesviews of the surrounding iconic volcanic cones and adjacent parks;

•       Providesa community focus and destination with a diversity of open space, characterprecincts, and housing types;

•       Isa walkable scale with key neighbourhood anchors such as a grocery store andcinema; and,

•       Iswell integrated and connected into the overall community fabric of Epsom, withstrong linkages to adjacent parks and medical services.
