The Roma Street Parklands played a significant and positive role in Brisbane by reconnecting and integrating the site into the existing city network.

of a former military base located 5 km from downtown Calgary.
CIVITAS was commissioned to provide a master plan for the expansion of the 55,000 sq.m. of gross leasable area of retail and mixed use of the existing shopping centre.
CIVITAS developed the Master Plan for this major redevelopment of an established shopping mall in the Maribyrnong area of Melbourne, Australia.
Town Centre Design
Located 5 kilometres south of downtown Auckand, New Zealand, Alexandra Park is a sustainable new neighborhood centre organized around a High Street. Developed on under-utilized land immediately adjacent to the existing Auckland Trotting Club (ATC) racecourse, the plan envisions a new community hub and a new urban heart for the Epsom Community.
CIVITAS created the urban design Concept Plan for this Transit Oriented Design (TOD) project, a 5-minute walk from a major Skytrain station. It contains a fine grain of integrated streets, a legible grid structure, small blocks that maximize street front access and provide active frontages. The intersection density allows for multiple pedestrian paths, and the Green Lane allows access for high density residential along King George Blvd.
CIVITAS was commissioned to prepare a conceptual site development plan to support and capitalize on the neighbouring university, research park, and adjacent
Station Square involved the redevelopment of an existing shopping centre into a vibrant mixed use transit-oriented neighbourhood, centred on a high street shopping experience.
Charleston Square, serving as the major sub-regional shopping centre for the Hunter Valley since the 1970’s, was in need of a major overall that included a new philosophy - ‘extroverting’ the mall. CIVITAS was engaged as the lead master planner to rethink the internal-focused building and re-envision the shopping centre and its surrounding public realm as a vibrant town centre.
CIVITAS prepared the plans and design guidelines for the mixed use heart of Rouse Hill. The Town Centre, consisting
of a Town Centre Core (phase one) and a Northern Precinct (phase two), includes a series of integrated public open spaces, a community and civic focus, pedestrian-friendly streets, and a variety of shopping and employment options.
