CIVITAS, under our U.S. name Urbanistics, and in collaboration with UrbanGreen, was engaged to investigate flexible and achievable master plan solutions to improve the student experience on campus.  The exploration process used focused design charettes and intensive workshops to generate quick and innovative ideas.  These collaborative workshops maximized direct input and feedback from students, university leaders, and facilities staff.

CIVITAS won the bid to develop the Urban Design Framework Plan for this strategic ANU site, adjacent to Canberra’s City Centre.

CIVITAS was engaged to prepare urban design options and develop a preferred plan for an important new mixed-use university gateway to the University of British Columbia.

The Gosford City Link project is a Master Plan for the redevelopment of lands surrounding an existing hospital campus.

As a Master Plan consultant, CIVITAS’ role was to realize the community plan and campus concept. The 1,200 student campus is situated as a landmark within a compact community including 1,000 homes on a greenfield site with significant topography and ecological value. Much of the site will be retained as environmental preserve.

The University of British Columbia prepared a new Landscape Plan for the campus and engaged CIVITAS to prepare the plan report and provide communication tools for communicating the plan to the community and those that will administer the development of the university campus.
